This book comes after The Golden Compass and The Subtle Knife. Read Nina’s page (Golden Compass) and Obleo’s page (Subtle Knife). This book tells the story of a girl named Lyra. She is 11 years old. She travels through different worlds, in search of the land of the dead where her friend is. To get there she travels with Will who has a knife that can open into different worlds, including the world of the dead. Once they get there there is a big problem. Once they try to get out by opening into a different world with the knife, they find out that the knife won’t open into one of their worlds. You will have to read the book to find out what happens! I like the way each chapter is about a diffrent carahcter, and at the end everything comes together. Interesting and Exciting. Scary @ some parts. My rating: 9/10.
